ALTERED ART ..


I WAS CHOSEN ONE OF THE TOP 3 !!! WOOHOO !! 
big congrats to Tracey, and Amy and Sandi , beautiful work girls ....



recently over at LESSology there was a challenge to alter some packaging
and create a TRINKET BOX .
I chose to alter a box which originally held a watch.
"I was lucky enough to be chosen one of the top three.."

above is my altered trinket box


ANOTHER ALTERED ART PIECE
I loved the challenge so much I decided to alter another piece of packaging
CAN YOU GUESS WHAT IT IS ???
I was inspired by my beautiful friend SANDI

can you guess what this is ???
AN ALTERED TOOTHPASTE PACKET !!!!



the chippy butterfly is from IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS
hand made flowers inked in Celadon 



I was quite pleased with the shabby, rustic feel to the end result. 
I ended up adding a completely new lid as the original one tore
as i was covering it, but this one was much stronger as it is made of cardstock
and patterned paper ... what do you think ???

    First of all, congrats, such a well deserved win!This is super, isn't it funny how sometimes "accidents" turn out a good thing? I,m sure a stronger lid is much better and the way you have decorated it all looks fantastic!
