TWO SISTERS

A beautiful photo of my mother with her older sister 
circa' 1920's
mum was 5 and Aunty was 7
Auntie Sylvia was my fave aunty..
my mother died when I was 10 years old 
and Aunty Sylvia was so loving to me and my twin sister (Lorraine)


I printed the pic on Canvas
 ( a little tough on the printer though.. naughty me )
love the effect of this ... 
the colors are quite dull but I wanted to reflect the time 
and create the effect of old aged paper ..

    now that is one AWESOME vintage page.. I love that photo.. I love old piccies.. there is just something about them uh.

    Heather that photo is just so precious and looks beautiful on the canvas. Don't worry about the printer, it will recover and if not, you will just need to replace it...lol. Worth every bit of it.
    I just love the newspaper cuttings and the color.
    And I didn't realise your mother passed away when you were so young. That must have been very hard for you girls.

    Love the canvas photo, (gorgeous) I just love love photos especially if they are of family,
    One of the my things to do on my list this year
    is to scrap more family heritage photos. Don't have many but I have some which are so unique and close to my heart. XXXX

    Amazing! I really love how the printing on canvas ages the photo instantly.. the texture is delicious....lol
    Beautiful memory to treasure, and the photo is so precious. Love the ringlets, brought back memories of running around with rags in my hair...

    Oh I do so love this Heather. I always adore Vintage. Fabulous photo too. I have a small case full of old photos from my Mother, Grandmother & even my Great Grandmother. I have scrapped some, maybe this beautiful layout of yours will give some inspiration to do some more. Fabulous as always. Love it.
