Hello there everyone
today I am sharing my July layout for Dusty Attic
Dusty Attic has such a wonderful selection of delightful chippies, blooms and paint.
I love to paint, alter, trim and distress the chippies .
Blooms and nature have so many exquisite layers , textures and color
I decided to create a background to mimic
these elements of nature .
BLOOMS
My background has many many layers
I began by priming my paper with white gesso
then splashed on some Tim Holtz stain - spun sugar and Victorian Velvet,
added texture paste with a mask,
more gesso , more stain , more gesso .
layer upon layer until I was happy .
MY TIP .... just keep adding layer over layer until happy .
(make sure they are thin layers)
how beautiful are these ... Wattle blossom : DA0752
I cut them , used pesto paint ...Dusty in Colour
Pesto : DA0918
then swiped on some white by dry brushing with Dusty in Colour Navajo White : DA 0903
I love to use these little numbers ..Mini Number grid : DA1073..
they are great to trim and cut to whatever size desired
Dusty Attic materials used .
