GRAPHIC 45 MINI BOOK

another class I am teaching in early May ..

the class is called a "BOX OF TREASURES"....the idea is to create a box filled with tags, mini books, cards AND memorabillia..
we will be creating a different project each month .. approximately 8 items and then at the end of the year we will be covering and decorating a box to keep them in ... I am using Graphic45 papers as a theme but each class participant can choose whatever papers they wish...
this delightful mini book is my first project for "THE BOX OF TREASURES...."

I chose to create a soft dreamy page to suit this beautiful shot of Ella Jai ... I was so lucky to catch her just at the perfect moment when she was day-dreaming.
Such a beautiful, darling, precious little girl, inside and out ....
I am not the least bit bias you know!!! LOL !!!!

April KIU challenge

APRIL KIU CHALLENGE

criteria this month
1 kraft
2 photos smaller than 6x4.
3 different alphas.
4 different patterned papers.
5 different embellies.

I love these challenges as it stretches me to do something different
I hardly ever use more than one photo on a page and as for 4 different p.papers on a page EEEEKKKK!!!

it was very challenging .. but hey thats what a challenge is !!!!! LOL

WW1 April Challenge

this month over at White with ONE....
the criteria was WHITE + OLIVE + TWINE

I found this quite challenging as there are so many shades of green .. I tore my first page up and began again ... I am happy now !!!!!
I put texture paste on the chipboard heart and then attached it to the page with white twine...
I adore this shot of Ella Jai ...she had a sleep over with us on saturday night and on sunday we went out for Brekkie and then off to the park .. such a fun day including a PHOTO SHOOT... lucky me .... she was very accomodating ... love ya Ella Jai and thanks so much for being you ...always perfect xoxoxox

THE COLOR ROOM .. PALETTE #52

this week the color room has a feminine color palette with soft light and deep pinks and aqua blue-green and cream.. I found it challenging !!!!
I added some Imaginarium designs chipboard .. the tag, the alphas and the heart..
I also altered the Tim Holtz name plate....by adding white texture paste and then when dry added blue-green paint over the top.. to create a grungy effect.
and a fave of mine is to use muslin .. I sprayed this with glimmer mist and added it to my cluster..

remember you can create a LO, card, or any other project..

the journalling does not apply to you if you create "a card" or "off the page project"... just use the sketch and a quote of your choice instead ..
