VINTAGE GRUNGE and RUST

Hi there my friends 

here I am again showcasing an art journal page with you .

I have my mojo back and I had such fun with this piece .

I love old Vintage photographs and I found this one 

of an old rusty car full of memories and intrigue ..

I wonder what this car would say if it could talk ??

GRUNGE ART JOURNAL PAGE 

MY BACKGROUND IS CREATED WITH 

texture paste, fabric and ink ..

no particular technique just splash it on and have a play with the palette knife  

Dusty Attic chipboard layered, inked with Tim Holtz inks
black soot, weathered wood, ripe persimmon and rusty hinge ..

 and finally I applied glossy accents .

 Happy New Year to each of you .

I am back at last !!!!

I am so happy to be creating again now that Baden ( my hubby ) 

is feeling much better and I have more time for myself .

I love these soft pastels with a pop of red .

I chose to use the prompt of WINTER

BEAUTIFUL

fabric, jewels, pearls, Bows, Flowers, Leaves Die-cuts.

TESTIMONY 

Winter is my very fave time of year. 

I love to sit by a roaring fire sipping hot chocolate 

Wearing a think bulky hand knitted jumper and socks.

I love gazing at the frosty mornings as the mist rises

 to the morning rays of the winter sun.

BIRTHDAY TAG

Hello my friends 

how are you all ? well and happy I trust .

Today I am show casing a Tag in an envelope

which  I created for a friends Birthday 

Chez likes brown and white and earthy tones. 

so I chose some beautiful Maja design papers 

and some flowers from 49 and market .
