over at the COLOR ROOM I uploaded 2 pages this week
one is simple and the other is beyond simple
the additions...
more chipboard, more muslin, stamping, brads and I moved the butterfly
I find it interesting making additions to a page and seeing the difference
what do you think ??
do you like the more simple page or with the additions ????
my preference is the second page with additions ...
love and laughter ... Heather xoxo
BEAUTIFUL! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this! Gorgeous photo and loving the flowers! :):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteAs always gorgeous work !!!you are so talented.
ReplyDeleteon the second LO I love the detail up in the top corner.
Both pages are wonderful, the "simplicity" really makes the photos speak, the addition of the softer elements like the muslin add wonderful texture, I just love this style of LOs and you are a master at them!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second one, with dark pink chipboards.
ReplyDeleteI just have been visting your room...love the new one i think the stamps are just a cool extra..is that english..lol...

Hi.. wow they both are beautiful in their own right.. but me being the one who finds white space difficult to do, i do like the second one with just a few more bits on it, but having said that, if i didn't see the second one i would have totally loved the first one!!haha! hope that makes sense!!
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Heidi:)
Both LO's are gorgeous Heather.. love the simplicity of the 1st and of course I just adore all the beautiful detail on your 2nd LO which is your signature style!! big hugs :))
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! Love all the details!!! The second one appeals more to me because I am a “more is more” person. I also love that you added some darker shades!!! And the stamping and the muslin give it its stunning “Heather Jacob – style”!!! Hugs Helene
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the first one I thought 'wow yep thats really pretty and beautiful' But with the additions I think you've managed to make it even more stunning. Love the stamping on the second.
ReplyDeleteI know I often look at pages i've done and think 'gee it could do with something more'. Great result either way Heather. x
Ok, so I had to flick back and forth 100 times because they are both gorgeous but I guess I have to decide on the second one too. I think the touch of brighter pink is a real highlight. How clever of you to make to fabulous pages, similar but so different. OH, and both just fabulous of course.
ReplyDeletei always to like "more"!! beautiful pages!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! Hey this is really interesting!!! I have gone back and forth heaps (like Jas) and I simply can't make up my mind (unlike Jas!). It's ridiculous but I simply CAN'T CHOOSE!!! I am torn! LOL! I love both lots!!! :D
ReplyDeletegorgeus!!! love them both!!!but if I have to choose I'd pick the last one, love those bits of purple!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I often like the clean and simple look, I prefer the second page. But both are truly beautiful !! XXX
ReplyDeleteWow! Heather this is just fabulous! I love what you did with those colors! Your stitching and design looks wonderful!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do love 2 versions!
ReplyDeleteHow can you call this simple?
ReplyDeleteBoth pages look great, with lots of details and things to discover.
Great colors, and interesting how you placed the image all the way at the edge.
Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second too!
hugs!♥
Beautiful layouts, sweet girls ♥ I like the second one best !
ReplyDeleteI love both!! haha :) And you are one of the most talented scrappers I have the privilege of meeting! And certainly the nicest! So glad to have met you! :) Hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Heather - definitely the 2nd one - it's what I know from you and what is so unique - your signature style :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE both layouts Heather!!!! They are both simply stunning. So glad you played along. :-)
ReplyDeleteReally sweet page, love the stitching!!
ReplyDeleteThey're both fabulous Heather but I must admit I do prefer the version with the extras :). Funny how different a page can look with just a few little extras added isn't it?
