BEAUTY and MEGS GARDEN

Hello every one today I am sharing a layout using some of the
BEAUTIFUL FRENCH INSPIRED papers designed by Denise ‘ The Articles de Paris .’
This Collection is one of my faves and I have mixed it with
snippets of the Christmas papers and the Forget me nots paper collection from 2012.
I love the soft muted colors and here I decided to create a background using two grey toned cardstock.
The banner consists of Ann-Le Belle Jardin papers mixed with grey cardstock. The photo is mounted with Ann-Le Belle Jardin papers and then the velvet flowers and die cut foliage are clustered around the bottom edge .
I fussy cut the ‘Clouterie Label’ and mounted it next to the photo .
To add extra interest I altered The Tim Holtz metal elements with Gesso and ink .

I really feel on a roll at the moment as this page just flowed together
without me tearing it up and beginning again
something I do often .

Back to this layout, I love it and the colours are amazing, I love to see the mix of new product and some not so new, it gives me hope that I might use some of my stash as well. I love the background stamp too.

Love your magic on the dark colors to create beautiful feminine pages...and gorgeous photo as always!
By the way, is the white on the punched edges paint or distressed? or is it the pattern on that paper?
    Big hugs,
