Today I am sharing a card I created for a friend.

'Friendship card '

We have been friends for many years and I wanted to make a statement and create lots of stylish layers , representing the various experiences we have had together and the many layers of our friendship and life.

   I began by cutting white card and folding it into three sections.

 I created my layers with the Spellbinders Nestabilities. 

I cut a piece of paper 7’ x 4’ for my base , and then proceeded to add my layers.

 Beginning with the largest die cut and stacking them in various papers in the Vintage Autumn Basics collection.

 I completed my card cover by fussy cutting the elegant lady and added her to the top of my stacked diecuts. A Vintage brad adds the finishing touch to my cover.

I love to carry my embellishments to the inside of my cards
and watch the expressions on my friends face as she reads the poem. 

This card contains one of my fave poems.

 I also added a stacked tag with a tie, and a diecut folded in half and placed around the edge of the card. Stamp with a friendship stamp and add a strip of Tim Holt tissue tape .
