PERFECTION

I hope you are all staying safe and well . 

Today I am bringing  another Project for you. Showcasing the absolutely amazing 49andmarket items .

49 and Market  

We are just beginning our autumn season here in Australia, such a beautiful TIME of the year . SIGH !!   Leaves change color and fall, and the rejuvenation period begins . Allow the colors and sounds of nature to make your heart sing and remember to Cherish all the moments,  embrace the beauty and importance of nature … 

PERFECTION

My Process 

I began my Layout by overlapping two papers. leaving the left and right side edge showing underneath the top page . I used a stencil and texture paste for my background and added some pale blue ink. I love to add stitching as I love the look and it also is a very quick and easy way of keeping the layered pages together .

The blooms and leaves I have used represent to me how the colors change during autumn, from yellow and orange through to browns and burnt ochre . Then finally falling from trees to the ground where  the rejuvenation process begins  .  I added a butterfly amongst the blooms and I layered and stacked different items to build interest and dimension . The stitched frames and the natural Ephemera stacks are just wonderful and such fun to play with  …

A friend of mine makes these stunning headbands featured in the photo. The headband to me represents natures leaves and stems as they turn different colors during Autumn . I named this LO PERFECTION, because to me nature is perfect, full of layers and color and form 

 

The 49 and market blooms are wonderful for blending together as they all mix and match  perfectly . 

The Ephemera stacks are great to layer on a Layout and I especially love to stack them with the stitched frames and build them up behind a photo .. I adore the tickets. one of my faves in the stacks ..
