KRAFT IT UP.. October challenge

HI there ! this is my take on the October challenge ...
A fun layout to follow ...
I adore this photo of Ella (one of my favourites taken a few years ago)
I began with Kraft paper of course !! then ADDED red, blue, some spotted p.p & a transparency.. finishing off with some butterflies ( designed by Seriously scrapbooking) & other elements to compliment the page.
A FUN PROCESS !!

some more SHARING

BEEN SCRAPPIN' SOME of my "FAVOURITE" PHOTOS...
and using some of my BITS AND PIECES from my stash..

I just love this photo of Ella Jai when she turned 5 back in 2008... she had a fabulous day celebrating her b'day with family and friends at the "farm barn".
they got to hold and feed all the animals .. a REALLY great place for a PARTY !!
the Heidi Swapp stamps are fabulous aren't they?? (HERE I used the TODAY stamp)
SUCH A QUICK AND EASY WAY TO FILL A SPACE.

IS this a clever way of using up SCRAPS or what ???? ... what do you think????

thanks for looking guys

A different size LO.

IN 2008 I tried out a few 11 inch x 8.5 inch LO'S ..
I was going through my stash recently attempting to tidy up my scrappin' space !!!??? which I find almost impossible ... and if I do clean up it doesn't stay that way for long.
Any way I found some 11 inch x 8.5 inch layouts and here is one to share with you.
I love this photo of my grandson Dakota..he was eleven then ..
I quite enjoy the smaller layout for a change I may even do some more ???

thanks for droppin' by
have a great weekend

MONARTO ZOO

WHAT A DAY !!! today Ella, Baden and I spent five wonderful hours at Monarto Zoo.
Ella and I had never been before and it was "absolutely fabulous." well worth the visit.
Baden had been in the early days of it's development and was amazed just how much it had grown... there were buses every 10 minutes and we were chauffeured around the entire compound.
I took heaps of photos and I will share some with you.
We stopped at Stirling first and had a delicious brekkie at TranQuilo's ... yummo!!
Ella had her usual baby chino...
she did some "masterchef scoring" and gave them 10 out of 10 for the meal!!
they thought she was soooooo.... gorgeous!!
with full tummies we set off for our adventure.

waiting for the bus to begin our tour.

the touch and feel area was absolutely amazing. there were so many skeletons and fascinating skins etc.
ella loved the horns and the snake skins.

it was so beautiful getting up close and personal with the giraffes.

zebras ..... one of my favourites.

a great day and a wonderful experience. loved it!
there is also available an opportunity to go in with the cheetas and pat them
I am definately going back to experience that !!! for sure !!!
WOW WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY.

hope you enjoyed the photos?
thanks for droppin' by.

WOW .... how old is she ??

Ella had a concert at her school last week ... it was a 60's and 70's dance theme... so much fun .. they were rockin' and rollin' like professionals and they all had such a great time.
Some of the boys wore "sunnies" ..lookin' very cool!!! and the girls dressed up with wigs and typical R&R clothes. they all really got into it!!!

Ella wanted her hair curly ... ROLLERS BEFORE THE CONCERT.

HOW OLD ARE YOU ELLA??? 7 OR 17 ???

waiting !!

A BEAUTIFUL SMILE AFTER THE SHOW... SHE LOVED EVERY MINUTE.
us "oldies" thoroughly enjoyed it too !!!!??? the music brought back lots of fantastic memories.

thanks for dropping by
