Inspired by a Christmas Photo

Happy hello to all my scrappy friends
today I am showcasing my December LO for
This photo of my grandchildren was taken at Christmas time 5 years ago .
One of my faves .

LOVE
  Maja Design papers used .
Vintage Summer Basics 1904, 1932, 1921...bs,
Vintage Autumn Basics, No XX11, No V11

these Vintage papers with their rich deep olive green
are perfect for a Black and white photo .
I added white gesso over the chipboard and random spots .
the chipboard is inked, swiped with white gesso and stamped in black .
My title is a Paper Smooches die ...
cut from these beautiful papers and altered with gesso and a stamp.
 These metal buttons look fabulous
with a little white gesso swiped over them .
lots of layering and mixing and matching the Vintage papers .

Below is a Christmas card heavily embellished on a foundation of
Walking in the Forest and Vintage Spring Basic collections.
I adore these rich and earthy colors .

 Christmas card .

thanks so much for popping by
and leaving such beautiful words to breathe into my soul.
I am taking a short 6 month break from Maja Design .
I have thoroughly enjoyed  my journey this year creating with such enchanting paper collections
and working alongside inspiring, friendly, wonderful, creative team mates .
thanks so much for having me Marie and Jenny.
I will be back on the team in June 2015 rested and ready to create again.
