have you been MISSING ME ?

I have been ill with a bacterial lung infection for the past 6 days
today I am feeling a little better so what better way to begin the day
than by posting
my latest DT layout for

' BEACH '
the colors did not photograph very well , not sure why?

November and December were the months we had our family holidays at the beach when we were kids .
we had lots of fun times along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria , and Lorne was my fave place.

EVIDENCE
wet medium (Tim Holtz crackle paint ) dots, I used muslin, chipboard leaves and title to soften the edges of the photo, and distressed and rolled the papers, the heart and film strip are both translucent .
TESTIMONY
Lorne was my fave place by the sea . running along feeling the sand between my toes.. jumping over the waves as they rolled into the shore. what beautiful memories

IMAGINARIUM CHIPBOARD title and honeycomb shapes .

THANKS FOR DROPPING BY EVERYONE
and I am feeling so much better today
big hugz
Heather x

  2. No good, being sick like that - hope it's gone & will NOT be coming back!!! This reminds me of being a teenager/young adult. We used to live in Geelong & pop down to Lorne for the day on the weekend....LOVED it - going back years now - they say it has changed heaps & become v 'upmarket':):):) Lovely job, as always....I like those hexagons & that stitching all crossed over:):):)

  3. Glad you're feeling better Heather. This page is just beautiful, one of my favourites I think. Love the distressed, vintage feel and also the softness of the colours and what a fabulous photo you've used and how cleverly you have made it become part of this whole lovely arrangement of papers and embellishments. xx

  6. Oh no, I hope you are getting better. Bring on the warmer weather to help us all get over these nasties.
I love this page Heather. The gorgeous dark background with the touch of aqua. The journaling strips look great (my son is off to Lorne for his school camp this year). You certainly inspired me to play along this week. I just have to stick it all down tonight....the worst bit I think.
