HOW I SOLVED THIS CASE
EVIDENCE
wet medium / crackle paint ( not very visible in the pic sorry )
ribbon
wave shape in the stitching .
TESTIMONY
how do I relax?
I have discovered the secret of happiness and relaxation
for me, is to work with my hands in nature, or planning my next planting in my garden .
The growth in a garden can be related to growing up as a child.
There are the tender early years when it depends on me for its survival.
Then the toddler to teen years where there is heaps of work but also lots of joy.
As time moves on I can see the beautiful structure and form taking shape
I stand back with pride as I watch my garden develop and mature.
being surrounded by nature lifts my soul
"A tapestry of Memories "

I could only fit some of my journaling on the layout
with the remaining written on the back of the page .

to see all the magical artwork and inspiration .

love and hugz to you all

  2. I ADORE how your embellies almost 'mirror' your picture - that works so well, & for some reason, I really, really feel drawn towards your 'flower' layouts...maybe it's the garden fairy doing her job. Not that I'm a gardener. I just love flowers! I should've been the Lady of the Manor with Gardeners by the Dozen. Sigh. Oh well....& thanks for the welcome re: CSI...it is a fun place to be:):):)

  16. Tee hee chiming in with Lizzy Hill about your flower pages, I love them all to bits! the garden fairy works over continents, she does her magic for sure! Your chippie work is always so beautiful, your doodling more of artistic touch-ups, adore your accordion blooms and how pretty the KC sparklers are on top. Most of all I absolutely adore that you use the soft soft green combined with calming cream, grey and white. Exquisite! xoxo

  20. Oh how lovely Heather, the feeling of peace is so evident in this layout, and I understand totally the relaxation that I get when I am in the garden, even if it is potting a plant, and especially watering with a hose.. love everything that is your trademark, the stitching, the inking, the clusters beside the photo, and all the elements that contribute to this beautiful layout...really gorgeous layout!
