MEMORIES ON A BLACK BOARD

Hi everyone,
When Jane presented me with this delish blackboard, my creative juices began flowing immediately.
I wanted to design something for this board that was interchangeable.
‘BRAINWAVE'
by placing magnets on the back of the layout made it easy to remove and interchange different pages.
I ADDED one  of my fave scrapbooking affirmations to this Layout.
Mine is hanging proudly in the kitchen where I can glance at my affirmations through the day.
Heartfelt  thanks  for the boards Jane x

IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS CHIPBOARD
Long swirly flourish IDFL0007
Title – Memories
Small tags
Funky heart

'MEMORIES'

these stunning golden leaves are from

PROCESS..
The FLOURISH is inked with Tim Holtz Rusty  Hinge distress ink and the title MEMORIES is also inked first with rusty hinge, with a small amount of black ink dabbed along the bottom edge, to create dimension. The flourish is twisted inside the label holder .
FUNKY HEART --- Remove The outside border of the heart and ink in Rusty hinge and black  .. cover the inside of the heart  with paper and then reposition inside the border … The small tags are covered with patterned paper .

Other items used.
BoBunny paper, EK border punch, green Tara leaves. Muslin, Tim Holtz die cuts, metal nibs, and Rusty Hinge distress ink, TEXTURE paste  .. black board.

My Handy tip ..
Creating layers on a Layout is fun and always adds interest and texture.
I have up to five layers under the quote.
Consider  cutting the chipboard into sections ( I have cut the flourish in two pieces )  this stretches your chipboard further and adds originality . Add a quote/ affirmation in place of a photo .

thanks for popping by
and taking the time to leave me some special words .
