I've been playing with our fabulous "CHIPPIES"



creating with IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS is so much fun!!

chipboard shapes I have used....
2 different size "HEARTS"
one covered with paper & one stitched on with black cotton.
"the decorative FRAME"
I cut this in half to create more interest & dimension around the photo....
the word "LOVE" which I repeated twice on the LO.

My page is primarily black & white with a dash of pink to highlight the buttons on Ella's dress..

KIU february challenge

wow this was way out of my COMFORT ZONE !!!!!
BUT HEY !!!! that is what a challenge is all about LOL !!!???

this time we had to do a LO using...
KRAFT, BLACK, ORANGE AND TEAL BLUE....

I am not sure about this page as it is so different from my usual colour combos..I am beginning to warm towards it I think ???
I asked Baden (My hubby) for his opinion and he reassured me when he said he really loved it !! he is so supportive of me and my craft.. love him to bits xoxo

ONE of 13

sorting out some of my "OLD FAMILY" photos
I came across these BEAUTIFUL SEPIA SHOTS OF MY DAD and some of his brothers and sisters...

A little FAMILY HISTORY -----------
DAD CAME FROM A FAMILY OF 13 CHILDREN ... YES 13 !!!
7 BOYS & 6 GIRLS ... dad was the 4th born ...

Dad's mother gave birth to 7 children but died when DAD was 8 ..
her sister ( dad's auntie) came to live in and look after the children... later grandpa married her and they had 6 children..
but sadly she died having the last child JOHN ... who now is the only one living .... he is aged 92...

THERE IS MUCH MORE BUT I WONT BORE YOU WITH THE DETAILS.

the top photo is of my DAD as a child about 5 or 6 .. so cute I think xo
dad was born in 1909 (quite a while ago) .... he died at age 75
