HOW I SOLVED THIS CASE
EVIDENCE
wet medium / crackle paint ( not very visible in the pic sorry )
ribbon
wave shape in the stitching .
TESTIMONY
how do I relax?
I have discovered the secret of happiness and relaxation
for me, is to work with my hands in nature, or planning my next planting in my garden .
The growth in a garden can be related to growing up as a child.
There are the tender early years when it depends on me for its survival.
Then the toddler to teen years where there is heaps of work but also lots of joy.
As time moves on I can see the beautiful structure and form taking shape
I stand back with pride as I watch my garden develop and mature.
being surrounded by nature lifts my soul
"A tapestry of Memories "

I could only fit some of my journaling on the layout
with the remaining written on the back of the page .

to see all the magical artwork and inspiration .

love and hugz to you all

GUEST DESIGNING AT GREEN TARA

another layout I created using the beauties from

'Firstly I want to say how much you all helped me with your love and compassion
on my last post ... it means a great deal to me to be able to share
my pages of Mark with you .
thank you from the bottom of my heart xoxo'
I will share some more pages from time to time, and you will see how he changed
over his 22 years of life, and how he lived a purposeful life.

below is my layout for GREEN TARA
starring the beautiful 'ELLA JAI'  of course !!!

'MY GIRL'

 PROCESS
I framed the photo with a compact cluster of beautiful ivory roses .. tucking copper leaves randomly around  the edge for a dramatic effect.
I dabbed some rusty hinge distress ink on a couple of the roses to create definition .

The large Organza flower stands alone as a feature and the white and blue chipboard compliments the elegance of this delish flower. I separated the bottom layer of this flower because I wanted a smaller version in this space .

Monochromatic  soft pastels hues with a kiss of color (copper leaves) always appeals to me, and I feel it compliments this photo perfectly .
I adore the way the leaves are wired  as this allows me to bend/twist/fold them which ever way I desire.
The simple background is created with a clock mask, inked with blue Versa color, machine stitching around the border and a small amount of doodling.

other items used .
Prima paper/fairy Belle collection, Imaginariumdesigns chipboard, prima metal bird cage,  kraft and white cardstock Bazzill,  crafters workshop mask – clocks, Kaiser blossoms, muslin.

thanks for popping by my blog
I Hope I have inspired you to play with your own cluster of GREEN TARA flowers.

MISSING YOU ..

I have been feeling a little down lately.
Been really missing my precious boy, MARK .
love this shot of him, at age two years, it is one of my fave when he was a toddler .
Mark always had such deep beautiful eyes, and a big open heart .
He was killed 13 years ago on his motor bike and I live each day to the best of my ability
BUT.. some days it is soooooooooooo difficult .
I thought I would get to work and create another page for his album,
I have created 50 pages of his life.
looking at his beautiful face, brings warmth and happiness to my heart .
'LOVE YOU FOREVER MARK xoxoox'

'MARK'
my own special angel x

I have done some personal hearfelt journaling hidden in these paper rolls .
All tied up with love x

thanks for dropping by everyone.
I am feeling ok today and scrapbooking always helps me move along my healing journey.
'Mark is always in my HEART ' .

I really love each of you guys who visit and  always take the time to leave me some love
mwah to each of you.
you make my day

MEMORIES ON A BLACK BOARD

Hi everyone,
When Jane presented me with this delish blackboard, my creative juices began flowing immediately.
I wanted to design something for this board that was interchangeable.
‘BRAINWAVE'
by placing magnets on the back of the layout made it easy to remove and interchange different pages.
I ADDED one  of my fave scrapbooking affirmations to this Layout.
Mine is hanging proudly in the kitchen where I can glance at my affirmations through the day.
Heartfelt  thanks  for the boards Jane x

IMAGINARIUM DESIGNS CHIPBOARD
Long swirly flourish IDFL0007
Title – Memories
Small tags
Funky heart

'MEMORIES'

these stunning golden leaves are from

PROCESS..
The FLOURISH is inked with Tim Holtz Rusty  Hinge distress ink and the title MEMORIES is also inked first with rusty hinge, with a small amount of black ink dabbed along the bottom edge, to create dimension. The flourish is twisted inside the label holder .
FUNKY HEART --- Remove The outside border of the heart and ink in Rusty hinge and black  .. cover the inside of the heart  with paper and then reposition inside the border … The small tags are covered with patterned paper .

Other items used.
BoBunny paper, EK border punch, green Tara leaves. Muslin, Tim Holtz die cuts, metal nibs, and Rusty Hinge distress ink, TEXTURE paste  .. black board.

long swirly flourish IDFL0007

My Handy tip ..
Creating layers on a Layout is fun and always adds interest and texture.
I have up to five layers under the quote.
Consider  cutting the chipboard into sections ( I have cut the flourish in two pieces )  this stretches your chipboard further and adds originality . Add a quote/ affirmation in place of a photo .

thanks for popping by
and taking the time to leave me some special words .
