VINTAGE INSPIRED

Hi and welcome everyone.
Today, I am showcasing some Vintage themed creations.
using the fabulous

'TIMELESS TREASURES '

I trimmed and inked the summer-leaf-stems, and positioned them with the cluster of paper flowers .
I inked the film-strips and placed them along the pen and ink labels on the left side of my page.
I separated the frame-circle-borders ,
inked with rusty hinge distress ink and dabbed the edges with black versa color ink .

I repeated the process with the chevron-bits-units
I decided to mix the chevron pieces and scatter them on my page,
drawing attention to certain features .
the chipboard pieces are raised / lifted with mounting squares to add extra dimension .
all the chipboard pieces are inked with Tim Holtz distress ink/Rusty Hinge,
adding soft dabs of black Versa color ink along the edges, to create a vintage / aged feel .

my second vintage layout

'FRIENDSHIP'
photo sourced from free printables images tumblr

The heart is covered with patterned paper , inked and then stitched onto my page.
the plain-triangles are also covered in patterned paper and stacked and stitched .

I trimmed the flourish from the sybills-name-plates ,
inked and placed it along the top of my photo.
By trimming the flourish I then have another flourish to use later .

the parisian-border ( below) is also trimmed, inked and added among the flower and leaf cluster .

My third and final creation for today.
I created this layout in April

'JOURNEY'
many thanks to Linda Eggleton for the use of her magnificent photo xoxo

thats all from me today
I hope I have inspired you in some way with my creations .

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POPPING BY

Scrap Around the WORLD - June Challenge

my first time playing here on

Inspiration Mood board and sketch

I flipped the sketch

'BLISS'
My interpretation of the challenge for June .
Mood board inspiration
My camera is an extension of my arm - it goes with me wherever I go .
For me I was inspired by the images of
the camera, the outdoors, the green, and the Smile .
From an early age I learned through solitude, information is received and intuition developed .
The magic of nature is so real and necessary to me .
I love to feel the air wrap around my body, watch the changing colors, breathe in the fragrance
of the seasons, while feeling the tingling and joy surging through my entire being.
This to me is pure Bliss !!!

2Crafty chipboard elements
inked and stamped.

A week in the life of ME - Kraft It Up

Kraft it Up June Challenge
This month's challenge is to create a "Project Life" inspired layout.
Use a week out of this month and take a minimum of 3 photos (more if you want to)
and you need to journal about what has happened that week.

When I looked at this challenge I thought Oh No !!!!
I don't do multi photos !!
but after taking a deep breath I thought I can do this,
and after all that is what a challenge is all about .. aaahhhh !

'CELEBRATE '

Every second month a group of our friends hold a progressive dinner .
we are allocated a dish to prepare. Last month mine was dessert.
I spent the week before deciding on my dessert recipe,
and decorating for my table setting.
I went with silver and gold tones. It was our turn to host it at our home .
we all had a fabulous time .
My dessert - I made Macadamia and cranberry icecream,
with Apple strudel and lashings of cream ... mmmm x

thanks for dropping by my friends and pop over to
and be inspired to play along this month
big hugz to you all

AND THE WINNER OF MY GIVE-AWAY IS
