Hello there everyone
today I am sharing my July layout for Dusty Attic
Dusty Attic has such a wonderful selection of delightful chippies, blooms and paint.
I love to paint, alter, trim and distress the chippies .
Blooms and nature have so many exquisite layers , textures and color
I decided to create a background to mimic
these elements of nature .
My background has many many layers
I began by priming my paper with white gesso
then splashed on some Tim Holtz stain - spun sugar and Victorian Velvet,
added texture paste with a mask,
more gesso , more stain , more gesso .
layer upon layer until I was happy .
MY TIP .... just keep adding layer over layer until happy .
(make sure they are thin layers)

how beautiful are these ... Wattle blossom : DA0752
I cut them , used pesto paint ...Dusty in Colour Pesto : DA0918
then swiped on some white by dry brushing with Dusty in Colour Navajo White : DA 0903

I love to use these little numbers ..Mini Number grid : DA1073..
they are great to trim and cut to whatever size desired

Dusty Attic materials used .
Dusty in Colour Navajo White : DA 0903
Dusty in Colour Clear Crackle Varnish :  DA 0900
Dusty in Colour Pesto : DA0918
Wattle blossom : DA0752
Typewriter ABC set : DA01434
Mini Number grid : DA1073
Mini Heart Buttons : DA 0682
thanks for dropping by
take care and happy scrapping until next time we meet  .

Hello all you wonderful followers of Maja Design.
A very very warm welcome here to my blog .
today I am showcasing a Rich and colorful TAG in an ENVELOPE .
I have used the beautiful FIKA collection
which I love .
The envelope is simply made from paper,
cut, folded and glued to hold the shape.

The tag is embellished with chipboard , ribbon, blooms and leaves,
and popped into the matching envelope.

WISHING you lots of everything WONDERFUL .
This envelope and gift Tag is for some friends of ours
who have just moved into their new home …. number 15 ..
their children are all adults now and married so they chose to downsize .
Their new home has a very pretty established garden, with deep blue and cream blooms .

House Number 15

We bought our friends a beautiful fern in a large deep blue ceramic pot ,
and popped in our hand made Tag in the envelope  .
They absolutely loved it and received it with gratitude, love and joy .
full front view of my Tag .
I also love to decorate the back of my tag
where I leave room to write a message for my friends.x
a little cluster of blooms .
I created this cutsie  little cluster to add interest and contrast
to the rich gingham envelope .
