Beautiful
Lots of color and texture .
My background technique …..
I have created my background texture here by spraying my tattered angels colored ink lightly on my mat or glass surface and allowing it to POOL .
Lay a mask, face down over the inked mat then lift the mask and transfer the color by laying over my white card to create a random pattern on my white card … lift it off and dry with heat gun.
When dry place a mask over the color and apply with white fibre paste to add more layering .
This creates an interesting texturised background for your Layout .
choose any color to blend with your photo and papers.

Layout details
I am a nature lover and have great delight in creating
pages showcasing photos of my garden .
I created my foundation on this layout by weaving some texture with color and fibre paste, reflecting the depth and beauty of nature. I
placed the photo on the side of my LO attaching blooms and leaves in a cluster,
framing the photo and drawing the eye inward.
I have a large garden which I spend some time every day
working , pruning and soaking up the energy
and sounds of the birds and the bees, as they go about their daily
business.
My journaling …
Delight at the bottom of my garden.
Autumn – warm golden
days and crisp evenings.
I love to sit outside and gaze at the changing colors
as the sunlight creates dappled shadows across the garden .

My approach to this LO ….
I adore reading about history and I am an avid collector of vintage/antique wares and sepia photographs. When creating something Vintage, I feel the rich earthy colors blend beautifully with the vintage photos and era. I found this photograph on Free printables and she reminded me of an Aunt of mine , who was born in the early 1900’s and worked for an Australian airline back in the early 1950’s .
Back in those days it was essential for the girls to look their best at all times.
Aunty Phil was always beautifully groomed and dressed to the 9’s .
I was totally fascinated spending time with her watching her do her nails, hair and makeup.
She died in 1990 at age 70 .I have such fond memories of our Aunt as she would spend hours telling us lots of stories of her travels and work. Thanks for the memories , we miss you x
thanks so much for popping by and looking at my work
I love reading all the fabulous words you leave me to breathe into my soul .
until next time happy scrapping x
