Today I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer over at

Megs Garden Blog.

showcasing the Sherlock Vol 11 Collection

These  papers are just perfect for my Vintage mini book 

I decided to create a book using black and brown cardstock. 

embellishing each page with the Sherlock vol 11 papers using 

 layering, distressing, inking . 

The cover is embellished with the emphera .

I had so much fun with this project and I truly hope you like it .

lots of layering, stitching, distressing and stamping 

adding little touches like pewter beads and string create interest.

post cards are a delight to add to any vintage project .

stamps add personality .

tags and pockets hold journaling

more pockets with tags and stamping .

mood boards take me out of my comfort zone
different colors and hues

to finalise my project
I decided to add a post card on the back of my vintage book .

This Sherlock Volume 11.
collection is such a delight to work with,
both inspiring and magical.


The book contains little pockets and Tags where
I added journaling to keep memories alive for future generations.

Masculine Birthday tag

Hi everyone

today I have a tag in and envelope to share with you .

this time a MASCULINE TAG .

my son-in-law celebrated his birthday recently and

I find graphic 45 the perfect paper for masculine art pieces .

 quite a simple tag/envelope as I like to make my masculine creations simple and bold.

I used tim holtz distress inks and glossy accents on the alphas

Today I am sharing a card I created for a friend .

Earthy greens and sandy hues with white splashes of gesso and beads . 

I used Dusty attic chipboard and Maja design papers and the gorgeous flowers 

are from 49 and Market.. I just love these blooms .

VINTAGE GRUNGE and RUST

Hi there my friends 

here I am again showcasing an art journal page with you .

I have my mojo back and I had such fun with this piece .

I love old Vintage photographs and I found this one 

of an old rusty car full of memories and intrigue ..

I wonder what this car would say if it could talk ??

MY BACKGROUND IS CREATED WITH 

texture paste, fabric and ink ..

no particular technique just splash it on and have a play with the palette knife  

Dusty Attic chipboard layered, inked with Tim Holtz inks
black soot, weathered wood, ripe persimmon and rusty hinge ..

 and finally I applied glossy accents .
