DELIGHT .. Dusty Attic April Sketch

Hello and a warm welcome to my blog
Today I am sharing my take on the
DUSTY ATTIC SKETCH
I decided to flip the sketch this month

'DELIGHT '

I adore this gorgeous photo of Addie,
a grand daughter of some very dear friends of ours .
She is such a little cutie , busy working away at her project.
beginning with a foundation of white cardstock
I have created lots of texture with fibre paste, masking and stamping
which all blend perfectly with Dusty Attic chippies and blooms.
Heart Arrows #2
Geometric Panel  Model: DA1037
the arrows and geometric shape have been painted in white,
then pink and lastly finished with crackle.

I added the paint and crackle to the Tim Holtz name plate , to blend in with the chippies .

Maja Design April Project - PEACE

Hello and a warm welcome to my blog .
Beautiful weather here is Australia, a perfect Autumn day .
A favourite time of the year for me.
Today I am sharing another layout featuring the Maja Design collection
To go to the Maja Design Blog
to see more glorious artwork

"PEACE"
As most of you are aware, I am a nature lover and today I have a layout in the blues and greens showcasing a cluster of glorious driftwood, seaweed and fungus I found on the edge of the ocean on one of our road trips along the Great Ocean Road, a glorious, rugged open ocean, scenic drive along the coast of Victoria.
I have stacked lots of paper Layering, with clusters of chipboard and blooms

Looking deep into nature fascinates and intrigues me .
Such intimate detail and captivating elements and tiny living organisms on this rich green piece of fungus. There were tiny little insects moving around through the moist green weed ,
too small for my camera to detect.
Nature holds such beauty everywhere.

Maja papers used
Vintage Spring Basics 5th of March, 6th of March, 7th of March, 4th of April, Days to remember, Vintage Summer Basics 1902.
thanks for poppin by, and I do hope you are inspired to create with these marvellous papers .
until next time , enjoy life x

Writing thoughts and feelings is a perfect way of showing myself
how I have grown and evolved over the years, recording the fun times and the challenging times.
Remembering all of my journey through life.
On this LO I have created a pocket containing a tag
with personal notes to myself .
just another Form of

for my testimony I had a go at Free writing
When I was a kid .....
I remember being fascinated by old vintage furniture.
A family friend, would lovingly take "tired old" chairs
and repair/turn them into charming pieces of unique dreamy furniture.
Filled with sumptuous fillings of feather/down and covered with rich velvety fabrics.
They were so comfy and soft as well as stunning specimens of vintage charm ..
I REMEMBER ... his hands were truly dripping with magical energy .

thanks for poppin by and I hope you are inspired to have a go at solving this case .

A little late solving case #112

Hi everyone, I am here at last with case file #112
a little late, but better late than never I say !!!

Case file #112

'HOLIDAY'

I struggled with the deep teal , but managed to pop a tiny strip along the right hand side .. sigh x
the brads are the lighter blue.
I love blue but sometimes it proves difficult on a layout
as there are so many different hues in blues and greens .
Nothing quite like a challenge though .....he he he  !!!

Evidence
Patterned background, frame, flower, floral pattern, heart buttons .
Testimony
One Easter we travelled to Byron Bay
by car, for the Blues and Roots Festival .
wow what an amazing holiday .
We arrived the week before the Festival
Spending the days exploring the
stunning beaches and surrounding areas .
So much to discover and breathe into my soul .
Lots of walks and delightful sights.
We soaked in all the glorious sounds of the festival
and had the best time … loved every minute.
A wonderful memory I hold close to my heart xoxo
