A few months ago I was offered a commission by the fabulous Tina Horton
editor of
AUSTRALIAN SCRAPBOOKING IDEAS
I jumped at the chance to be in this fabulous new
AUSTRALIAN MAGAZINE
I AM SO EXCITED AND THRILLED
thanks for asking me Tina .
this mag is full of brilliant designers and ideas,
and absolutely oozing with inspiring creations.
I'M ON PAGE 48..
my feature is all about
' BEAUTY THROUGH THE LENS'
no matter where you look there is beauty
I love to shoot different and unusual items
rusty wire, rustic bricks and an old shed for example,
making sure I have some foliage in the foreground to soften, blend and create interest
I have used some
on each page
an interesting and quaint old shed peeps out from behind the beautiful historic garden
owned by our special friends Ros and Tony Hurren.
on their magnificent property in the heart of Stirling near Adelaide .
this old rusty wire has it's own beauty
I wonder
what interesting stories it could tell us if it had a voice.?????
I adore the look of rustic bricks with rambling natural plants
lapping over the edges .. and sneaking into the crevices.
this is again a small portion of Ros and Tony's huge rambling garden.
metal embellishments also give the impression of age,
blending with the wrought iron in the pic above.
woohoo !!! I am so thrilled to be connected with this fabulous Australian mag ...
I have some more work in next months as well..
I feel so blessed ..
thanks for popping by and for all your wonderful blog love
you are all very special ..
with light, love and hugz x
