MAJA DESIGN -TREASURE THESE MEMORIES

Hello my friends.
I am Guest designer for August,
and today I am showcasing some more Maja Design collections
Vintage Summer basics and Frojdefull  Jul

'TREASURE THESE MEMORIES'
I  created a mini collage of papers at the top of my layout .
I began with a 2 inch strip, added a border punched strip, finished off with an even thinner strip of paper
which I machine stitched these together with black cotton.
Adding more layers with chipboard, blooms and diecuts .

peeping out among the blooms are two pieces of 2Crafty Chippies
2Crafty
the mini frame and the dandelion .
These Christmas papers have a dominant red , but on the back side
they are soft grey as pictured below .

girlanger and julklappar
I combined the Vintage Summer collection with a couple of Christmas papers
These collections blend and mix together perfectly.
Thanks for looking and I am hoping you are inspired by these beautiful papers.
until next time

  3. I am not usually such a great fan of black and white (or rather grey toned) colour schemes,, but you can make any colour scheme look fantastic and of course it looks brilliant with that photo! Love the strip at the top with all the layers and additions, looks fantastic!
