Guest designing for LemonCraft

Hello everyone and a warm welcome to each of you.

I am so honoured and excited to be invited as a 

Guest Designer for 

LEMONCRAFT .

Heartfelt thanks to you Anna for asking me .

These papers are so beautiful and a pleasure to work with .

Soft, romantic and glorious designs and colors .

Today I have 3 projects to showcase and share with you .

my first project is a Layout I created to showcase these glorious  papers 

LOVE 

the BG paper is lacy and soft therefore 

I only needed to do a small amount of stamping and stitching .

I just adore these blooms .

as many of you know I love creating tags ...
so here are two for you to see .

TEXTURED TAG  

 I adore the softness of the pearly white background

with the richness of the green and deeper pink .

I created some texture with fibre paste and a stencil .  

 I cut out and layered the green and pink butterflies , 

creating a cluster with the bird cage, butterflies, metal element , brads and flair.

the metal element is painted with white Gesso and secured with a glossy ceramic brad. 

LAYERED 

POCKET ENVELOPE and TAG

 Here I created a pocket with a layered and stacked design on the front .

the pocket holds a TAG where I wrote a quote and left room to write a celebration message.

here is my June project for 

Dusty Attic 

This month I decided to share some card/tags with you .

Recently our niece was married 

and I wanted to create a hand made card for them to keep 

Emma said she really loved it and thought it was special 

as it was handmade .

I chose these colors for their softness and romantic feel.

I created a small pocket inside the card to hold a tag 

and a gift of money for the wishing well .

BIRTHDAY TAG for Libby 

I wanted to create something special and unique
 for my treasured friend Libby
I used the alphas and created a spot to add Libby's name .
I love the soft pastel paints from Dusty Attic .
they are a dream to use
They go on very smooth and dry very quickly .

the base of my tag is chipboard to create a strong foundation.

I have covered it with Maja design paper and applied texture paste with a stencil . 

next the dies are layered and the chippies 

are placed on the top .

Birthday Easel Card

Welcome to my blog and thanks so much for dropping by . I have been having fun lately creating cards for friends  I find Cards are so much quicker and easier than LO's and they are a great way of using small leftover pieces from projects.  I am sharing a card I made recently for a friend

There is something I really love about easel style cards  Not sure what it is .. I just love making them .

The Texture is created by stacking various 

nestabilities diecuts in co-ordinating Prima papers.

I topped this stack with a fabric bloom.

 lots of layering, texture and blending of colors.
I trim most of the chipboard as it goes further and I can create more layers ..
when using the paints I almost always mix two colors together
and finish up by lightly swiping white paint across some of the chippies  .

In the pink

Hello everyone and a big warm welcome to my blog  so happy to see you here  Today I am sharing an easel card I created for a friend . Lots of Dusty Attic chippies included on the front of the card   Birthday Card

 I began by using texture paste and a stencil to create the BG

next I added some beautiful Dusty Attic chippies 

and completed the card with some blooms and beads .
