Birthday Tag in matching envelope

Hello gorgeous friends and fellow scrappers. welcome to my blog  today I am showcasing another Tag in an envelope  I created for a friends recent birthday celebration . "These tags/envelopes do seem to be my fave lately " hope you don't tire of them !!!!
I chose a nautical theme using the delightful Maja Design papers . the heart and cog are from Dusty Attic .

Dusty Attic - Treasures

Hi there my friends , a great big warm welcome to my blog
my turn today over at the
  Dusty Attic 

We are in Spring here in Australia and today I have a nature layout to showcase .

Gardening, blooms and nature are some of my favourite things in life.

This month I have used a Photograph of some seaside daisies 

poking their happy little faces through the rustic cast iron fence .

The colors are mixed together to achieve this hue.

I began with Mountain Meadow

 and gradually added tiny amounts of Oceania until I was happy with the tone .

the leafy stem is trimmed, 

then painted and layered over and under the right side of photo .

I placed this frame upside down and added a couple
 of altered metal embellishments to the centre of the circle  .

Short visit to Melbourne

Hi there  we have just returned from a few days in Melbourne  we travelled over  to Celebrate a 60th Birthday party with some beautiful friends of ours .
Cheryl and Phil  both turned 60 a week apart from each other   so they naturally had a combined party .

Melbourne is so busy  Nice to visit but too busy for me  the party was fabulous  lots of fun, laughter, food, drink and great music and dancing .
the venue was at Q.P.O  High Street Kew . this building was the old Post Office in Kew . a beautiful old piece of architecture 

 lots of little unique eating places and coffee shops .

 love this rustic timber bench .

 herbs on display .

the city of Melbourne  we had a fabulous time but pleased to be back home in my garden .

I began with this design and then decided to make an addition ...

"the word .. LOVE"
 and a small folded circle on the top section of the tag.

I created this brown and white number

 for a special couple who have just become engaged .

I popped on a heart with a little piece of bling 

to mimic the diamond ring .

where I will write a message to Zivana and Paul

today I am sharing a card I made for a friend 

I love the combination of rustic and black together 

I used Dusty attic chipboard and added a shiny finish to the 

black heart and cherries .

 the wildflowers chippies are trimmed and I have only used the berries

I truly love the contrast of the black against the pale rust hue .
