Case file #137 - #Just saying

Today I decided to solve this case by  using a quote in place of a photo . case file #137 

love these colors and I also added a slightly deeper pink in the fabric flower and chipboard . Small amounts of yellow and my mixed media BG contains the orange and the pink . #JUST SAYING

EVIDENCE  Polka dots, stripes, metal, flourishes, triangles, washi tape..

EVIDENCE text print, floral pattern, fold something, leaves, wet medium. TESTIMONY I chose to journal as a dictionary definition, about a solitary pleasure. STYLE ... 

 A particular kind, sort, or type, as with reference to form,

appearance,or character:

A mode of living, as with respect to expense or display.

An elegant, fashionable, or luxurious mode of living:

 journaling continued on the back of my LO..

I find great pleasure in browsing through books giving me ideas in fashion and color

for decorating rooms . I often wander through home/furniture stores to see what displays they have 

to breathe in ideas and inspiration.

BLOOMING GORGEOUS

I am in a romantic mood today showcasing a very soft and romantic card,

loaded with blooms, and some resin embellies, 

embracing the dreamy new collection at Maja Design

'BLOOMING GORGEOUS' 

with Pink and White

Lots of layering and stitching. I always have such fun creating these cards .  I find the Maja papers such a delight to play with, and the layers are complimented with the blooms and a key .

 Just look how these papers embrace the blooms .

I can just imagine sitting at a table sipping coffee surrounded

 by a beautiful garden full of color and blooms .. sigh xoxo

  I decorated the inside of the card quite simply more striped paper and a small die on the right side .

 I seemed to be a little carried away with the blooms and just kept adding more of them .

These papers blend so beautifully with little pink rosebuds,  pink and white roses 

and a resin key .

Celebrate with BLUE AND WHITE - always so fresh and crisp .  

I love the crisp feeling to a blue and white project . 

Here I have created a tag that pops inside the pocket 
  My stacked layers consist of leaves , rosebuds, chipboard and dies, 
finishing off perfectly with a heart and an altered metal piece and  pearl brad .

 This pocket has a foundation of white cardstock with stamping in blue, 

and some white gesso splashed randomly 

to add to the crisp feel of Blue and white.

I really love the texture that layering gives.

to me it creates intrigue and beauty .

Decorating tags is a love of mine 

and it also gives me plenty of space to write a message, making it personal .

Embracing our Enchanting New collection

Hello to all my Maja Design fans 

Today I am sharing a project I created with the new

I adore this Pink and white with the hearts 

It creates the perfect foundation for a card/Tag .

a Tag in a Pocket 

A layered cluster with rosebuds all tied up with white ribbon 

Showcasing the Tag which lives inside the pocket . I always leave plenty of room to write a message on the Tag 

I love the way the altered keyhole blends with the heart paper . "you have the key to my heart !!!" So many beautiful layers and softness all embracing each other with harmony. TESTIMONY

Journaling.. inspiration words/ delight and simple .

I have always found delight in simple things. 

Buying new seedlings and planting them in my garden fills my heart with warmth and so much happiness. Watching them thrive and grow makes me smile . 

There is something so beautiful about nature .

And I just adore PINK blooms scattered among the shrubs and hedges in my garden .

I talk to my plants while I gently nurture them. 

Giving them plenty of fertilizer and water.

Plants really respond to music too, many of my friends ask me how I 

have such a lush garden ... 

When I tell them I talk to my plants some of my friends laugh and think I am Mad !!!!

My garden is living proof of the 'magic' that words do . 

  I am passionate about my garden and love all my blooms... sigh !!!!!
